BVSc (Hons)

Dr Clara Wilkins

Growing up in Bungendore, I was always surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes, and I was fascinated by all of them. After finishing high school, I managed to combine my love of animals and my interest in science and medicine by studying vet science at Sydney Uni and graduated at the end of 2019. I then completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery in Sydney before moving back to Canberra where, after a stint in mixed practice, I decided to focus on just my smaller patients. I have a particular interest in surgery, and in the medicine and preventative health of small "pocket pets" (inspired by my two beautiful rescue rabbits Millie and Mitchell).

When I'm not at work, I like to spend my time hiking, camping and skiing. I have a kelpie X named River who shares my love of long walks and exploring the outdoors.
