We are excited to be offering dog training classes at Canberra Vet Hospital. Our dog training classes will focus on developing good canine citizens and their behaviour who are a pleasure to have around in any setting. It is generally accepted that well mannered dogs will spend more time with their human family and we hope to facilitate this through our dog training classes.
Level 1 and Level 2 classes
Classes go for 6 weeks
Dogs and handlers will learn and practice basic obedience skills
There will also be time for socialisation and games
Weekly classes cover basic obedience skills including, sit, watch, stand, drop, wait, stay, heel, come when called and settle.
Classes run for one hour, one night per week, for six weeks on our front lawn area (under lights in winter). There is a limit of 2 handlers per dog.
The total cost is $160 per dog and a $50 deposit is essential to confirm your booking. Please bring your dog’s current vaccination certificate to the first class.

There will be a level 1 class that is held from 6-7pm and a level 2 class held from 7-8pm outside in our beautiful new training yard.
