Project Description

Nurse

Lucy Yang

My love for animals has been evident from a very young age and it wasn’t very long before I realised my true passion for all things exotic – especially reptiles and birds! I started working at Canberra Vet Hospital in December 2018 as a receptionist before doing animal attendant work and then eventually completing my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing becoming a full-time nurse.

I have three dogs – two greyhounds named Bruno and Cheeky and a geriatric Maltese named Winston – and two lovely ginger cats named Aspen and Saskia. I also have a smorgasbord of reptile pets – including bearded dragons, shingleback lizards, blue-tongue lizards, goannas and snakes. I even have pet tarantulas named Spiderlina Jolie, Spider Woods, Quentin Tarantulino and Tarantula Swift.
