Dr James Ip
I grew up in Melbourne where my family and I were puppy raisers for Guide Dogs, since then I realised my passion for animals. I have also always been very interested in science, figuring how things work and how to fix things. I then moved to Brisbane to start my journey to become a vet and graduated from the University of Queensland in 2019 with a bachelor’s in veterinary science (honours). I love travelling and exploring new places which is why I then decided to come to Canberra, which I am very much enjoying the charm of this contemporary, convenient, small city.
I have a pug named Megan whom I enjoy going on walks with as long as the weather isn’t too hot for her, she is also currently training to become an assistance dog.
